Residence permit to move to a spouse, registered partner or common law spouse in Sweden-
If you are a citizen of a non-EU country and want to move to a family member in Sweden, you require a residence permit. You can be granted a residence permit if you are planning to marry or become the common law spouse of someone in Sweden. The family member in Sweden must be a Swedish citizen or have a permanent residence permit

Residence permit for moving to a close relative in Sweden- If you are a citizen of a non-EU country and want to move to a family member in Sweden, you require a residence permit. You can in special cases receive a residence permit for moving to a close relative in Sweden who is not and will not become your spouse or common law spouse. Examples include children over 18 years of age and parents of an adult child living in Sweden. The family member in Sweden must have received a permanent residence permit.

Residence permit for children –
A child under 18 years of age who is a citizen of another country outside the EU needs a residence permit to live in Sweden. There are different permits, depending on the reasons for the child's residence in Sweden.
